Certified Nurse Aide

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare worker that can provide personal care to residents in a variety of settings. CNAs can be employed in nursing homes, hospitals, hospice centers, private homes, and more. CNAs assist with a variety of tasks, including personal care, feeding, and bathing. A CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical (LPN) to give personal, hands-on care to patients, residents, or clients.

Requirements:

• State issued ID
• At least 16 years of age to participate in the CNA Training.
• Physical exam (within 1 year)
• Two-Step TB Test (within 1 year)
• Criminal Background Check (not included in tuition)
• Ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic math.
• Pass a written and skills competency exam upon completion of the training to be eligible for employment.
