Sedricka Epperson, MSN, RN - Program Director

Kiera, co-owner and Program Director of Essential Health Academy servicing the Indianapolis area to provide quality education and guidance to aspiring CNAs and QMAs. Kiera began her healthcare journey as a CNA at the age of 17, where she grew a heart of compassion to help others. She later earned a bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse with experience in MedSurg, Medical Progressive Care, and Psychiatric Nursing. Kiera has over 10 years of experience in healthcare and is currently pursuing a degree as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
 

Donielle career in healthcare began as a CNA in southeast Ohio. She moved to Ft Wayne Indiana in 2009 and became her family first generation college student after completion of a Phlebotomy certificate program and Associates of Applied Science in Medical Assisting at Ivy Tech Community College. She went on to fulfill her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis in 2015.

She has been a nurse for 7.5 years and started her nursing career in the hospital  ICU and Labor & Delivery. After the hospital she transitioned to community health nursing and found her calling. She has a great passion in education and help individuals to better understand  and advocate for their individual self, so they can reach their goals. 

Donielle have been married for 10 years and have two children. In her spare time she enjoy spending time with family, painting, playing board games, and swimming. She is currently working toward her own business,  Empowering Families, providing family education that changes life’s for generations to come.
