Certificate in Nurse Aide

Essential Healthcare Academy's Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program provides the knowledge, hands-on training, and clinical experience needed to begin a rewarding career in healthcare. Students receive instruction in the classroom, practice essential nursing skills in our skills lab, and complete supervised clinical training in a long-term care facility. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to take the Indiana State Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation and pursue employment as Certified Nurse Aides throughout Indiana.

Applicants must meet the following requirements before enrollment:

• High school diploma or GED (recommended) 
• Government-issued photo ID 
• Criminal background check 
• Physical examination 
• 2 Step TB screening 
• Completion of the admissions process 
• Ability to read, write and speak English
